Wang Tong nodded: "Then just follow me."
Yang Luo lowered his head and smirked slyly, when suddenly a cold snort came from behind him. He turned around and saw a young man in his late twenties glaring at him with a dark look. This guy's name was Liu Shijie; ever since Yang Luo shook hands with Wang Tong earlier, this guy had been hostile toward him.
Yang Luo took a step back and said softly in a provocative tone, "What the hell are you grunting at?"
Liu Shijie said coldly, "Kid, stay away from Wang Tong. Look at yourself, do you even deserve her?"
Yang Luo's smile suddenly vanished. "Kid, you listen the f**k up. I don't give a damn about your threats. I will get Wang Tong into my bed."
Liu Shijie's eyes grew darker. "Do you know who I am?"
Yang Luo burst into loud laughter: "Who the hell knows what bitch's crotch you crawled out of." Yang Luo's voice was loud enough for the people in front to hear clearly. They stopped and turned around to look at them.|
Liu Shijie's face twitched with embarrassment: "You have no decency at all. A person like you can still be a police officer? I will report this to my father and get someone like you kicked out of the police force."
Yang Luo waved his hand: "What do you mean no decency? A real man lives freely—does what he wants, says what he wants. A dumbass like you, who goes around cheating people with his family's power, is the kind I, Yang Luo, despise the most."
"You... who are you calling a dumbass?"
Yang Luo laughed heartily and stepped forward. "Is there anyone else here?"
Liu Shijie's eyes flashed with venom. "Damn it! A lowly cop thinking he can fight me? You're not even close. Wang Tong, you stinking bitch. I only put on this damn uniform for you, and you just ignore me. When I finally get you into bed, I'll make you pay."
Wang Tong said worriedly to Yang Luo as he approached, "You just got here, you don't know. His father is the deputy mayor. Don't provoke him from now on."
Yang Luo laughed heartily: “Someone who can scare me, Yang Luo, hasn’t been born yet.” Suddenly he stopped in his tracks, turned around, and pointed at Liu Shijie. “What does he have? His old man is the mayor—that’s his old man, what’s that got to do with him? He said I should stay far away from you, that you belong to him. If we go by his logic, whoever has more power gets to marry you, then it shouldn’t be him marrying you—it should be his old man. If that’s the case, I won’t fight his old man for you. Why doesn’t he just take his little stepmom home?”
“Hahaha...” Others held back laughter out of respect for Liu Shijie, but Tan Long didn’t give a damn and let out a wild, unbridled laugh. “Brother! I’ve decided—you’re my friend for sure.”
Liu Shijie’s face went from pale to red, and finally turned purple as he pointed at Yang Luo and said furiously, “Fine! Fine! Just wait and see...”
Yang Luo provocatively wrapped an arm around Wang Tong’s waist and started walking out. Caught off guard, Wang Tong let out a shriek and tried to break free from his arm. But that arm was like a big steel clamp—no matter how hard she struggled, she couldn’t move it an inch.
Wang Tong’s face was bright red, and she said somewhat angrily, “Yang Luo, let go of me right now, or I’m never talking to you again.”
Yang Luo said domineeringly, “Starting today, you’re my girlfriend.”
Wang Tong was stunned by Yang Luo’s words, then whispered, “Yang Luo, I’m really getting angry. Let go of me now.”
Watching Yang Luo walk out with his arm around Wang Tong, everyone’s jaws dropped. Tan Long rubbed his eyes. “Damn! Wang Tong didn’t even get mad? That’s a freaking miracle.”
